Hi. My name is Shayelle Melnichuk. I'm 18 years old and live in Toronto, Canada with my family. My family is unique in the fact that my dad is a pastor and missionary which has allowed us to live in different countries serving Jesus and His Kingdom. Our family adventures have instilled in me a heart to serve and now I have the opportunity to experience my own missional adventure.
I have now graduated from high school and before I choose a path of study in university, I feel impressed to take this season of life and dedicate it to serving Jesus and His Kingdom in order to align the priorities that will affect the rest of my life.
I have been accepted to a 6 month internship program in Melbourne, Australia at Planetshakers church (www.planetshakers.com). This volunteer position is completely self-funded so I am taking a simple leap of faith to make this happen. This is where you can partner with me on this life changing adventure.
My basic budget is $8000 which covers all the essentials of travel, accommodations and ministry expenses. Through hard work I have already raised $5000 and would love your help in raising the remaining $3000. My schedulted departure is January 24 but before I go I have a question for you.
Would you consider a one time donation of $50 or $100 or another amount?
I understand that this is a great opportunity to grow in my personal faith and experience many situations where I will be challenged to adapt and serve. With this in mind I promise to keep you informed during my adventure so you can see how my life of serving is making a difference to others.
