A play about acceptance, and emerging on the other side to find healing!

Hello! My name is Lindsay Ross, the playwright for the show Shattered. Originally called, “I AM HERE,” this play has evolved into something I’m very proud of! When it was previously at The Chain in the winter of 2023 it was in its early stages, and I realized there was more that needed to be said. This new version gives more insight and answers to questions I never knew I was asking. Writing this show in its entirety brought healing and closure to questions I had been asking myself.

The truth is? The past is complicated. Everything this play covers, bullying, religion, self-harm, family, gender, and even sexual assault is complicated. Unraveling those emotions is wrapped into something bigger. What is truth or fiction? So through the lens of a Princess I tell my story! I hope that this play not only entertains, but helps someone going through a similar experience. 

Performances will be at Under the St. Marks this May!
