A Bible in Everyone's Hand
Since 2010, Cityof.com has dispersed-Free of Charge-over 300,000 burgundy, hard-bound Bibles (Good News Translation) containing the inspiring Word of God, lists of specially needed passages providing help in times of trouble, maps of the Holy Land and the 3-year cycle of readings for Catholics, Presbyterians, Lutherans and Christians who use the Lectionary for Sunday Mass all throughout the USA.
Although providing over 96,000 this year alone, rising costs of printing and shipping have prevented us from fulfilling the remaining 5,000+ requests we still have waiting for us right now. Our goal is $45,000 ($8.87 per Bible) to accomplish this end.
