Please help the Heilman Family
It is with great sorrow and a heavy heart that we announce the untimely passing of Shannon Heilman, 37, on September 1, 2021. Shannon was a loving wife to her husband Jay, having recently celebrated their 16th wedding anniversary as well as being a tremendously caring and amazing mom to five children, Mariah, 22; Hannah, 14; Aaden, 12; Zachary, 12 and Addison, 4.
As you can imagine, Jay and the kids are devastated. Jay has not been able to work for the past two weeks due to the extreme stress, anxiety and depression of Shannon being hospitalized. In addition, Shannon missing 5 weeks of work prior to her passing.
Shannon was a lifelong Christian, who put her faith in Jesus at age 9 and was always willing to go out of her way to help others in need. Shannon also took care of everything for her family, including the kids doctors appts, therapies, bills, school. All while working full time and going to school to earn a degree. Shannon was one test away from graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in psychology. Having a child with autism, she hoped to work in the schools as a counselor or teacher for ESE and special needs kids. She was so close to finally realizing her dream.
Their family will have to cover the cost of medical expenses, the funeral, as well as, other unforeseen financial burdens in the immediate future.
Our goal is that Jay will be able to stay home with the kids for a short time, so they can all adjust to life without Shannon.
