Mother-Daughter-Sister-Beautiful Soul

Hi, my name is James and I started this Gofundme to alleviate the financial stress that my family and I are going to be going through, while my beautiful girlfriend (Shannon) goes through a major Thoracic surgery, called Pulmonary thromboendarterectomy, also referred to as pulmonary endarterectomy, this is an operation that removes organized clotted blood from the pulmonary arteries, which supply blood to the lungs. Doctors are going to manually remove blood clots that have become infused into the inside lining of her lungs. This is causing her heart to overwork, to get blood pumping throughout the body, to the point that if she doesn’t have this surgery then her heart will continue to go down the path of heart failure and it carries the risk of needing a heart and/or lung transplant( because its great wear and tear on the heart muscle). She had 2 previous procedures done to remove the clots in her lungs but they were both unsuccessful.

Shannon is a phenomenal Mother, sister, niece, friend, co-worker and stranger; she’s a full-time Registered Medical Assistant ( she has been one for the last 11 years and truly loves the medical field and helping others, she also runs her own Aesthetics business. She is one of the strongest women I know and has overcome a lot of adversity in her life. We are headed towards financial stress and strain with her going to be out for a total of 11 weeks, so with no income coming in from either sides of her right now, you can only imagine the amount of stress and panic I’m already enduring mentally.

I’m temporarily going to be doing everything as a single dad, to our blended family of 3 kids ( 12, 6 & 6) and our dog ( Please send help! :) This page wouldn’t be active, unless it was needed and if my mind wasn’t stunned with trying to do everything and or trying to figure out what the next 11 weeks will be, while making sure our family stays under one roof, with lights, AC/heat, food to eat, Housing, while in California for the first 3 weeks, gas for travel expenses, since we are driving to and from California from Arizona to have her surgery. Anything helps, so I want to thank every one of you, in advance.
