Shaniel is a 47 year old loving daughter, sister, aunt and friend. In recent months Shaniel was diagnosed with breast cancer. We are ready to fight with her through treatment and prayed for a full recovery.
On Christmas Day ,2015 we got news we weren't expecting to hear. Shaniels cancer was advancing rapidly. The cancer has completely taken over her liver, it spread to her spleen and kidneys. The Drs informed the family that Shaniel only had months to live. Chemotherapy was an option in the beginning; however due to the stage of the cancer it was the professional opinion not to seek any treatment as it would do more harm than good.
Still prayerful Shaniel wanted to get better and walk out of those hosipital doors healed by Gods good grace. Every day she woke up was a blessing and a day closer to her healing.
In recent days Shaniel expressed she was short of breath and it was hard to talk because she couldn't breathe properly. Still being who she is through the pain she smiled through it all.
On January 5, 2015 Shaniel stop breathing and had to be revived. She was sent to ICU and put on life support and is in a semi state of unconsciousness. She is unable to breathe on her own and the machine is the only thing keeping her alive. This is truly devastating to the Shaniels family and friends because we were praying for her healing.
January 6, 2015 the Drs informed the family that Shaniel only had 48 hours. Medical bills and last expenses have began to add up and the family was not at all prepared to lose our beloved Shaniel. We know that God has the last word, and the family would like to prepare for a proper burial. In past years we have lost a sister and now we going through this again which is devastating on us.
