Donations for Shane Wero’s Celebration of Life
Donation protected
Update: Shane passed peacefully on July 12, 2024. He battled his health courageously for eight years with an LVAD. We thank you for your previous donations that gave us the chance to travel and stay with him during his last days. We are requesting monetary donations at this time to help with memorial service costs, etc. The memorial service will be announced at a later date. Again, thank you!

My husband, Shane, has been battling health issues since 2016. He has congestive heart failure, dilated cardiomyopathy, and has been implanted with an LVAD (Left Ventricular Assist Device). Since then, we have gone through ups and downs. He was diagnosed with kidney cancer a couple of years ago which makes him ineligible for a heart transplant.
In the past year, he has been admitted to the hospital several times to deal with kidney issues. As well as multiple trips to the ER when he is home. He was recently admitted July 2, 2024 and is considered in critical condition at the University of Utah Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah. This has taken a huge toll on our finances, bills, etc. since Shane has not been able to work much. While he is in the hospital, I also cannot work since I am his paid caregiver. At this time, we are requesting donations to help relieve some of the outstanding bills we have as well as travel money for gas, hotel, and food. Any donations is very much appreciated from the bottom of our hearts. ❤️
