Shaina Brocha (OBM) bas Shmuel Aber was born on 18th of Av, and passed away just eleven short months later, on 5th of Tammuz.

Shaina did not have a chance to grow up, a chance to learn Torah, or a chance to teach Torah to those around her - but we do, for her.

So to remember Shaina, and to honor her memory by spreading the light of Torah, Shaina's extended family have created SHAINA'S TORAH PROJECT.

The Shaina Torah Project is a dual initiative, aimed at providing Shaina's Grandfather's Shul with a new Sefer Torah, and also creating a revolutionary iPhone/Android app platform to encourage daily Torah learning.
We've set the starting point for the Shaina Torah Project at $50,000. The funds are set aside for writing the Torah, which is set to hopefully be completed in time for her 3rd Yartzeit, and developing the Torah App.

The App's design and development has already been sponsored by the Saber Team, but these funds will help pay the writers and editors to complete the first phase of the app.

The App, set in a trivia game format, will feature a series of questions from the daily Chumash study and enable the users to track and monitor their understanding of Chitas.

Any additional funds raised will go towards developing the Tanya and Rambam phases of the Chitas App.
