Pilot Episode "Setlist"

What is "Setlist?"

"Setlist" is based on the truly inspiring Muscato family story: a gifted drummer with Autism who was physically and mentally abused in assisted living facilities, used as a drug mule for drug dealers, tossed in and out of jail and shot by a drunk corrections officer and his younger brother who led the charge for change to save him. Along with their father, a washed up rockstar and Autism advocate, the Muscatos rally a city and the music industry to raise hell and Autism Awareness.

What makes "Setlist" unlike any other show:
Creators Max Muscato & Sonny Muscato crafted the show to be the truest depiction of their family dynamic. Real stories and characters played by an actual drummer with Autism and his sibling are written with an honest perspective; taking a hilariously organic snapshot of the issues they encounter making music together and bringing it to life on screen.  The Muscato brothers act like true brothers, looking beyond a disability, who treat each other with honest love and accountability.

Rock Autism On Set Internships!
SonMax Entertainment and Rock Autism have partnered to bring Rock Autism On Set Internships to the production of "Setlist." Together we will provide hands-on internship opportunities on set for youth with Autism who wish to learn a craft in the media arts and will connect them with professionals in the Buffalo film industry.

Why donate to Autism?
Autism families struggled in COVID-19 quarantine, cut-off from therapies and programming,  which led to severe mental health regression. Often isolated from the community under normal circumstances, the pandemic has made it even worse. No music therapy or film programs led to higher anxiety, depression and hospitalizations. YOU can end Autism isolation and unemployment in a BIG way! Give internship opportunities that will build a creative independent future for youth with Autism!

ROCK AUTISM MISSION:
Our objective is to support individuals on the Autism spectrum to develop a craft in music, film, and the multimedia arts that leads to employment in their given field of interest; keeping them free from isolation, depression, drug and alcohol addiction, incarceration, and suicide.

Additional Partners:
In addition to Rock Autism, we've partnered with People Inc., one of Buffalo's largest agencies that provides services to individuals with disabilities. We've also partnered with Villa Maria College and their Film and Music Programs which allows us to provide more internship opportunities for aspiring creators.
