Relief-work trip to Morocco / Spain

Hey y'all!
Most of you already know this about me but it is my dream to either work for UNICEF, the UN, or anything to do with human rights. Mark Twain once wrote that travel is fatal to bigotry and prejudice and I have found this to be true a number of times. One of the reasons I love to travel is that you are able to access a side of education you would never be able to receive in a classroom.
When I first found out I was accepted to this service learning trip through Morocco and Spain I was overjoyed. These are two countries I have dreamed of traveling to for a long time. Not only that but the trips focus is on getting to work with the local population and it involves spending the majority of our time working and volunteering in hospitals and orphanages. I am registered to take my first Arabic class this fall. Attending this trip would not only give me a chance to work on those Arabic skills but it would also give me a chance to work towards my future goals of working with an NGO.
However, I am a single mom and I am currently working two jobs in order to pay back debt at my original university so that I can transfer out of a community college setting and into a university in the spring, inshallah.
The $2,200 will help me purchase tickets and pay for the remaining costs of the trip.
