Dear Friends and Animal Lovers,
We are currently homeless, living in two cars and urgently need your help to secure a safe place for my sister, nephew and myself (both seniors) and our three beloved dogs: Callie, Gracie and Banjo. Our pups are our family and finding a pet-friendly housing is our biggest challenge.
Our family has endured a series of heartbreaking events. After moving to Texas for a fresh start, we rushed back to Long Island,NY when my brother who stayed in our childhood home was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. We spent our last savings to be by his side but sadly he passed away in December. On top of this profound loss my sister battles chronic health conditions, I recently had a heart attack and my nephew faces numerous medical issues. Now our childhood home is being sold and we were told we could not stay. We had 3 days to leave. This has left us with nowhere to go. We are desperate to keep our furry family together. Gracie who was my brother’s dog and a constant reminder of him. We could never give them up-They are family.
Your support is a lifeline for us and our cherished pup. We are having a problem with finding a place to rent that will allow 3 dogs. If you have a place please let me know. We need donations to hopefully have a home.
