So you've stumbled upon my campaign and you're asking yourself "who is this guy and why should I give him my money?"
Here's a bit about me: I'm from a small farming community in rural Canada. Not a wealthy upbringing by any means, but a comfortable one. 3 years ago, I decided I was no longer content with not doing anything for the hurting world out there and I quit/sold what I had and could and left home. I am currently a full time missionary/volunteer, and have been for the past 3 years. I've worked with the organizations of Youth With A Mission, Operation Mobilization, several churches in varying international locations, as well as a myriad of smaller localized organizations. I've been around the world since, going where I am needed. I've been to places such as Pakistan, India, South America, and Africa. I've seen God provide everything from food on my plate and a place to sleep to flight tickets and volunteer fees. Up until now I have never requested or asked for any support.
I've since changed my thoughts and beliefs on this. I realize I've been excluding others from joining in the missions that I help with. I haven't been inviting others to be a part. I realize now that while I am blessed with the opportunity to go abroad and give of myself to the needy, for others this is not possible (jobs, family, careers, etc). So I'm inviting you to join me. I'm inviting you to support me. I'm inviting you to partake of the inheritance I am walking out in. Whether in prayer or finances, or both.
The Current Mission: I have recently decided to invest in doing a 3 month school in New Zealand. Those of you who know me, know I've volunteered in this country before. But this is different. It's a school called Inheriting the Nations School. Or INS for short. It's a program designed to impart the revelation of the Fathers Love. The testimonies are powerful. "Life changing" is a common term used. While it's not directly volunteering, the goal of this school for me is to receive the Father's Love (of God), which will greatly impact my ability and capacity to love the broken and 'unlovable' of this world. In other words, it's an investment, not only into me, but into the lives of all that will be touched through me in the years to come. Will you invest into that?
The Cost: The school fees are $7100 NZD, plus an additional $280 NZD for the ferry, and $2300 NZD for the flights. That adds up to $9680 NZD, or $8400 CAD. I'm continually updating the fundraising goal at the top to reflect donations given outside of GoFundMe.
