This is Markarius. He got into an elite academic program called Summer Institute for the Gifted at Yale University and needs $5,000 to go. He got a $1,500 scholarship, but that doesn't cover the rest of his tuition (4K) and then traveling expenses and miscellaneous needs (clothes, toiletries, luggage). I have till this Friday to get this money or they give up his spot. This is a once in a lifetime experience to get him to a place where he truly deserves to be, that I feel will change his life.
