Danny's Transplant Fund
Donation protected
11 yrs ago our dad and friend to so many, was diagnosed with a lung disease called Pulmonary Fibrosis. A crippling disease that changed his life... and ours.
"Dan the Man", "Big DA", was always the life of the party... but this disease has taken that from him... from us.
In 2014, while living with only 25% lung capacity and the inability to do the most basic things, the finest team of Dr's at Brigham & Women's Hospital in Boston placed him on a transplant list. On December 15th, 2015 our prayers were answered... A positive match!
After the transplant and many months of rehabilitation, we are now faced with the harsh reality of exorbitant monthly health expenses associated with his ongoing care and well being.
He is currently taking over 20 medications daily, which will continue for the rest of his life. The medical bills and expenses associated with this disease are overwhelming for our family during our commitment to his personal hands-on care and recovery.
The physical struggle we can deal with... The financial struggle is becoming overbearing. To all of our friends and family that have been there with us through this process... Thank you. We love you.
Any donations, no matter the size, we are forever grateful to you and for giving our father, our friend a second wind.
