Sebastian’s Final Journey: Help with Emergency Vet Expenses
Donation protected
Sebastian, my nearly 15-year-old Siamese cat, was my everything, my best friend, my confidant, and my constant companion. We’ve shared countless memories, weathered storms together, and navigated multiple moves, always supporting each other through thick and thin. He was more than just a pet, he was family.
When he was diagnosed with kidney disease and hyperthyroidism, I vowed to do everything I could to give him the care he deserved, no matter the cost. But despite our best efforts and a blood transfusion at the emergency vet, Sebastian passed away in my arms, on the evening of April 05, 2025. His sudden decline left me heartbroken and devastated, and the pain of losing him is indescribable.
What has made this loss even harder is the financial burden, but I promised Sebastian that I would do everything in my power to give him the care he needed, no matter the cost. I focused on his well-being first and worried about the financial side later. I lost my job, and despite applying to many positions, I have not yet secured one. The remaining balance for Sebastian’s emergency vet care is still looming, and if I’m unable to cover it, I will have to make the difficult decision of selling my car, which would leave me without a way to support myself during this already challenging time.
If you can, I humbly ask for your help to cover the remaining emergency vet expenses, which totaled $2140.58, and that does not include cremation costs. Every contribution, no matter how small, would go directly toward settling the final emergency vet bill. Perhaps you’ve also lost a pet, or maybe you've known the pain of kidney disease. If you’re able to donate in memory of a beloved animal or in honor of a shared experience, it would mean the world to me.
If you're unable to donate, simply sharing this fundraiser helps more than you know.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for the love and support you’ve shown to Sebastian and me throughout this journey. He wasn’t just a pet, he was family. With your help, I can honor his memory and begin to rebuild my life in his absence.
"Even though you didn't make it to the end of my story, I'll always have the corner folded down on your page as it was one of my favorites."
