Sean's Medical Fund
On June 11th 2015 my father, Sean Wilkie, suffered a massive heart attack. He was rushed into surgery at the Nebraska Medical Center and the doctors saved his life. He had to have three stents put in and stayed at the hospital for days after. At only 47 years old, this is my fathers second heart attack. He comes from a family of heart disease.
Sean Wilkie is one of the most genuine, kind-hearted human beings you will ever meet. He has faced a lot in his short lifetime. He served in the United States military in Desert Storm and as a result is a disabled veteran who has been diagnosed with PTSD.
This man has been more than a father to me. He has been my mentor, my coach, and my best friend. I am thankful to still have my dad and I have been doing my best to care for him because he has always cared for me.
He has already struggled to pay off his medical bills from his first heart attack while being a disabled veteran and still holding a job. However, he cannot do it again. I am asking anyone for help in any way possible.
Something saved my dad on June 11th and I believe there is a reason he is still here. Give him the chance to live his life without burden.
