Help the Mannion Family during Sean Jr.’s Medical Journey

Donation protected
Thank you, friends, family, anyone taking the time to read this.

First, I ask to keep little Sean Jr. in your thoughts & prayers, who has born July 22. He was weighing a healthy 7lbs and 20 inches long with the cutest of smiles.
They say it takes a village, let’s be that village for baby Sean Patrick Mannion.

I’m starting this fund to assist my dear friends Dana & her husband Sean with the unimaginable tasks related to their newest son and rainbow, Sean Patrick.
Dana is an amazing friend with a heart of gold, who has gone above and beyond for others. I’ve admired her dedication, generosity, and our friendship. Since she met Sean, she is the happiest and most glowing version of herself, clearly meant to be. In the past couple years, they have gotten married and were expecting a baby in 2024. After 8 months of a healthy pregnancy the unthinkable occurred, the umbilical cord tangled, and beautiful Michael John was born sleeping.

A blessing arrived this year with Sean Jr. It’s been a grateful, hopeful and nerve-wracking time. Their little Sean Jr. was found to have congenital heart defects called Coarctation of the Aorta, VSD, & PDA. He has a severe narrowing of his aorta and a hole in his heart. With this condition blood will not flow throughout the body efficiently. Sean Jr., at 3 days old, underwent Open-Heart surgery to have his heart repaired. This is a major life saving surgery and comes with a lengthy recovery time. He is in the best of hands at Boston Children’s Hospital. Sean Jr. is expected to live his first several weeks at Boston Children’s Hospital in the Cardiac ICU. Naturally, Dana & Sean haven’t left his side. As Dana was across the street recovering, Sean was with little Sean Jr., running from hospital to hospital to be with his family. Once Dana was discharged, she has been by their side. Little Sean is anxiously waiting to meet his big sister Ainsley once he’s feeling a bit better.

As they devote every minute to little Sean Jr’s. recovery they are faced with overwhelming stress. The weight of emotional, physical, financial strain that comes with a lengthy hospital stay. The strain of the logistics of a long-term stay in Boston while having Ainsley home for summer vacation.

They are a hard-working family who wouldn’t ask for a thing but gladly give the shirt of their back. I ask if able to donate, please do. The ability to alleviate some of these stressors for the Mannion family to focus on little Sean Jr.’s recovery would be such a gift. A gift I’m sure they would forever be grateful for. Giving is more than a donation; it’s about making a difference during a difficult time.

Please Keep them in your prayers.
