Scott Henriksen Memorial Education Fund

This is a memorial fundraiser in honor of Scott Henriksen who passed away on 11/22/2020. In lieu of flowers, the family would like you to consider giving a donation to assist with the educational costs (i.e., tuition and/or books) for his two grandsons, Izaiah and Izaac Esparza. 

Izaiah is currently a freshman at Point Loma Nazarene College (San Diego) where he is majoring in Biology and is a member of the Pre-Health Student Association. He is a graduate from Bishop Amat High School where he was on the honor roll, and received 1st honors in business education. He swam on the Varsity swim team all four years. 

Izaac is currently a sophomore at Bishop Amat High School (La Puente) and completed his first year on the honor roll. He is a receiver on the 2nd year football team and plays Libero on the volleyball team. 

Both Izaiah and Izaac have volunteered for a number of community organizations, including the Five Acres Group Home for Boys (Altadena), Catholic Charities Footprint Walk  (San Gabriel Valley) to raise awareness for homelessness and hunger, numerous charity events with the Knights of Columbus, making meals with The Burrito Project (Los Angeles) to feed the homeless, and Bishop Amat High School food drive. Izaiah has volunteered for the Pregnancy Help Center of San Gabriel Valley (Temple City) as he is interested in pursuing a career in healthcare. 

No donation is too small and know it will genuinely help Scott's grandsons. Scott's daughter, Vanessa, is a single-parent who is raising these two outstanding young men. Thank you for your consideration.
