Hello my name is Sarah Elijah Scherer! I am a 2016 USA Olympic Team nominee!!!
Please help send my family and myself to the Rio Olympic Games! This is a very special experience for me not only because I get to compete for Team USA but because I will be my last competition. I have had two back surgeries over the last 1.5 years and after Rio I will be retiring from my sport and moving onto other opportunities and challenges.
How will the funds be used:
Personally, I need a few pieces of equipment, some travel and workout gear to compete at my best in Rio.
For my family, airplane tickets and hotel are crazy expensive for this Olympics! Also, due to safety in Rio, it is critical that my family is able to be in a safe area.
