Scan Seanross Abbey Mother and Baby home Event

Our Irish government refuse to send forensics into the grounds of Sean Ross Abbey Mother and Baby home to look for suspected remains of up to 1500 babies who vanished or were allowed to perish like the 9000 other babies who died under the care of the church and state from 1960 onwards.

After more than five years of research and an endless fight with survivors and an excruciating wait, the final report of the Commission of Investigation into Mother and Baby Homes was released on the 12th of January 2021, revealing emotional and physical abuse, rape, brutality, appalling conditions, severe cruelty, discrimination and very high infant mortality rates.

15% of babies who were born in the homes died of congenial heart diseases, malnutrition, heat stroke, sun stroke and as mentioned in the report "choking on their porridge" which was known to local and national authorities at the time and recorded in official publications. 

Survivor's have cited many discrepancies and inaccuracies within the report which added more trauma to their ordeal and many are still waiting for answers as to where exactly it is that their babies are. 

Urban Forensics is an event management organisation with a keen interest in highlighting social issue's, particularly the mother and baby home scandal

Rachael Keogh has worked closely over the last few years with survivor's of the homes and has worked initially as an artist and is now creative producer of  the Stay With Me Art show.
The art show was a response to the Tuam mother and baby story when journalist  Alison O'Reilly broke the story and got an enormous response from the public. 
Alison founded and directs the art show which has over 70 artist's involved who contributed their work from all around the world.

Rachael is now collaborating with Urban4n6 and proposes to raise 10 thousand euro to hold a large music event with ticket sale funds then going to Alison O'Reilly, who will then pay TRT engineers to have the Seanrossabbey grounds tested for traces of anomalies of 1090 babies who passed there and are unaccounted for.

The 10 thousand euro will go towards securing a venue, floor management, performer's fees, promotion, transportation of our artist's artwork, transfers for survivor's, video production, lighting and photography of our event.
