Hello Everyone,

My name is Savi. I’m a massage therapist/yoga instructor/dancer in Southern California. On Friday, Oct 20th, 2023, I took a very hard fall on uneven pavement close to my work in Venice, and broke my left ankle.

If you’ve ever met me in person, you know that my Body has been no stranger to odd mishaps over the years, I have fallen from 12 ft beach cliffs, 20 ft ceilings, & even got run over by a limo last year. Crazy stories aside, I have been so fortunate & blessed that I never broke anything, and always had really good people around to help in the aftermath of those situations.

When my fall happened last week, I did RICE (Rest-Ice-Compression-Elevation) and tried to walk on it, as I truly thought it was a sprain similar to others I’d had before. Due to my history of physical accidents & having a very high pain tolerance, it took me a week to go to the hospital. I started to get shooting pains up my left leg & went in for X-rays. The doctor told me that my fibula towards the bottom was broken, I would need a cast, and that I should absolutely refrain from physical activity & said I could not do any physical work for 6-8 weeks. I have never broken anything before, and will trust in my Body’s healing and being gentle with it for now, but am very worried about my finances since I am self-employed.

Since my primary source of income has been gathered through Kinetic Means, this situation puts me & my family at a serious financial disadvantage, as I am the sole provider of my household. This GoFundMe would go towards my medical bills & unemployment, as I have lost income that I provide for my family with.

I am having a leap of faith in asking for community for help while I recover, if there is anything you can offer, I would be so very thankful.
