As many of you know my "child" Gordo is my baby and he has been diagnosed with (IMTP) Immune Mediated Thrombocytopenia. He is need of a blood transfusion immediately. They will not start treatment until we are able to pay this is full. Please help save my baby's life. Every penny counts.

Good morning everyone! As posted yesterday Gordo was able to receive his blood transfusion with great success! He finally started responding to the antibiotics and steroids. His platelet count is up and he was able to form blood clots to stop the bleeding in his GI tract. I have learned a lot about animal care these last few days, like where they get the blood (from an actual dog donor) and that it needs to be fresh. He is resting at home now on his long journey to a full recovery. He will start immunosuppressive therapy on an outpatient basis starting Monday. None of this would have been possible without the kindness and generosity of each and every one of you! It really touched my heart that so many of you cared and helped. I am not the kind of person who generally asks for help. I started this fundraiser as a desperate plea for his life thinking no one would listen or help. Gordo came to me in my darkest days after my father had passed and gave me a reason to be happy again. So there was no way I could give up hope and just take his mortality as an answer. But for my baby boy I would do anything. We thank you from the bottom of me and Jonathan's heart! Our family wouldn't be complete without him. Thank you all again for your help, prayers, and PAWSitive vibes! I love you all :)
