In the summer of 2014,  three homeless siblings, Sandy, Atom & Chip were found digging through dumpsters on a work site in desperate search for food. They were on the brink of starvation when AZ Paws was notified. Since that day they have been given food & bowl to sustain them until AZ Paws could gain their trust. They are now safe in kennels and right now it's one day at a time for them. Sandy has been diagnosed with Heart Worm, a possible infection and could also be pregnant. Chip has lost all of his bottom teeth and what teeth are left are rotting. Both he and his brother, Atom, are awaiting vet exams. 

We want to get this family healthy, happy and into forever homes. They are very sweet and deserve a much better life.

Donations are needed to help cover the vet costs and any medications or surgeries they may need. As we find out more information, the donation amount will be adjusted.

Sandy is fitting in well at her foster home. Since things easily stress her out we will be holding off on her microchipping. She will also be fitted with her new harness & ID tag.

Atom is still with his pet sitter with a new foster home pending. We should know more by tomorrow. Today he was fitted with his new harness and ID tag. At some point soon he will be microchipped.

Chip just got settled into his new foster home with Marci. Today he was fitted with his new harness and ID tag. He will be taken in on 7/2 to get microchipped. He just started his 30 day antibiotic treatment. Once that is completed he will begin the heart worm two month treatment.
