Conserve Koala Habitat in Australia
Donation protected

Koalas are in sharp decline due to habitat destruction in Australia. We are working closely with the world's only Koala Hospital in Port Macquarie New South Wales to help protect the few remaining koala forest habitats. We urgently need to purchase large areas of coastal forest land that will be conserved forever under management of the Australian Koala Foundation. Your donation will support this effort to secure the future of wild Koala populations in Australia,
Koalas are an icon of Australia that are famous worldwide for their cute and cuddly appearance. Unfortunately koala populations are rapidly declining all over Australia due to loss of their natural habitat caused by ongong development, accidents with the increasing number of vehicles, and forest fires that are on the rise as a result of climate change.
The Koala Hospital in Port Macquarie is currently overwhelmed by the number of injured and orphaned koalas. Following their rehabilitation, the hospital requires large forested natural areas for reintroducing koalas to their natural homes. These areas are disappearing fast and it is urgent that the few remaining areas are protected to ensure that koalas continue to thrive in the wild for future generations to enjoy.
