Prince needs a specialty surgeon to save his life!At 8 years old, this sweet toy poodle found himself at a Texas kill shelter when his owner passed away. Prince is now safe in rescue, but he needs immediate surgery for an open hernia that's spilling feces out through open incisions in Prince's skin. Prince is scheduled for surgery Wednesday, May 31 with Dr. Lammers at Animal Emergency Hospital of Mansfield, Texas. Depending on what is found, Prince may need additional procedures. This is a very risky anesthesia due to Prince having a collapsing trachea when he first joined our rescue.
