Hello, my name is Cristhian Brambila, and I need your help.

In 2010, when I was just 16 years old, I was hit by a dump truck while riding my motorcycle. The truck driver fled the scene and left me fighting for my life.

That moment changed everything.

I suffered a fractured skull, ribs, arms, tibia, kneecap, and a fully exposed femur through my knee. I was close to death.

I spent four years bedridden, then five years in a wheelchair, and the last six on crutches. Despite the trauma, I never gave up. I’ve undergone several complex surgeries, including:

An external fixator with more than 8 pins for 6 years

An internal platinum plate with over 12 screws

A bone marrow graft from my own hip

But even after all that, my femur never healed. And now the situation is critical: I’m battling a severe bone infection (osteomyelitis) that threatens not only my leg but my life. I urgently need a costly surgery and specialized treatment to survive.

That’s why I’ve created this GoFundMe campaign:

I need to raise funds as soon as possible to cover surgery, specialized antibiotics, diagnostics, and post-op care that could save me.

Hola, mi nombre es Cristhian Brambila, y necesito tu ayuda.

En 2010, cuando tenía solo 16 años, sufrí un accidente en motocicleta al ser embestido por un camión volteo que se dio a la fuga. Ese momento marcó mi vida para siempre: tuve fractura de cráneo, costillas, brazos, tibia, rótula y un fémur completamente expuesto por la rodilla. Estuve al borde de la muerte.

Pasé cuatro años en cama, luego cinco en silla de ruedas y llevo seis años con muletas. Aunque mi cuerpo quedó profundamente dañado, nunca dejé de luchar. He pasado por varias cirugías muy complejas, incluyendo:

• Un inmovilizador externo con más de 8 clavos durante 6 años

• Una placa interna de platino con más de 12 clavos

• Un injerto de médula ósea de mi propia cadera

A pesar de todo, mi fémur nunca sanó. Y hoy, la situación es crítica: tengo una infección ósea grave (osteomielitis) que pone en riesgo no solo mi pierna, sino también mi vida. Necesito una intervención urgente y costosa para poder continuar.
