Memphis is the very definition of "man's best friend".
My name is Beth and I have had my pug Memphis since he was born (literally...I had his mom). He is the sweetest, most gentle dog you will ever meet. Throughout the past 8 years I have had him, he has helped me get through incredibly tough time periods in my life: from divorce, the death of one of my best friends, struggles with infertility and my diagnosis of Lupus. On days when I didn't even want to get out of bed, Memphis would always be there looking up at me with those big brown eyes of his and that mile long tongue hanging out of his head.
I can always count on Memphis to never be more than 5 feet from me at all times. He quite literally is my best friend. And now my best friend has been diagnosed with cancer. I noticed a 1 inch and a half hard tumor pop up under his skin on the side of his face within a day or two and immediately took him to the vet to get it biopsied. It came back cancerous. Because of the location of his tumor being so close to his eye, in order to get the surgery he needs to survive, he needs to go to a cancer specialist veterinarian.
This is where he and I need help from you, my friends. I can't pay for his surgery on my own even though I wish I could. With your help, Memphis will have a fighting chance to live the rest of his life as happy as he is now and it will mean the world to me. He is an extension of myself and I can't picture him not around. Thank you for your support.
