This past week we heard about Mayla, this adorable puppy who wouldn't be sold by the pet shop she was sent to because of a heart defect. Though we tried to find her a family we were unsuccessful. During this process we fell in love with her and decided to take her home so that she would be more confortable. After taking her to the vet we received the news that Mayla needs heart surgery within the next three weeks in order to survive and unfortunately it was more than we expected- $5000 in total. She has a hole in her heart (PDA Grade 4 Heart Murmur)
that makes it difficult for blood to circulate and get oxygen through her body. After pulling together what we could, we just need $3,500 more in order to get her the surgery she needs to survive. Mayla is a 17 week old lab/golden retreiver mix. She is so full of life, curiosity and love! If we are able to meet our goal, this sweet pup will get the chance to live a long happy life with a family that fell in love with her. Please help!
