Life Club House is nursing home and adult day-care center dedicated to the wellbeing and dignity of elders in Cali, Colombia. With the COVID-19 crisis, Life Club House has lost one of two critical sources of revenue. Per government orders, it can no longer serve 14-20 elders who received daily care services, as they are required to be home bound for an indefinite period. To continue adequately serving our 13 live-in elders and giving them the quality of life they deserve, we need your financial support.
How will Life Club House use funds?
Your donation will be used to cover critical operating expenses like rent and care taker wages (nurses, kitchen staff and therapists) while we weather this world health crisis (3 months).
How far will your donation go?
$1 US Dollar today is equivalent to more than 4,000 Colombian pesos. The Colombian peso has devaluated significantly since the crisis began and cost of living in Colombia has gotten more expensive for our staff. Reaching our goal of $7,500 US Dollars will go a long way in ensuring we can continue to operate for the next 3 months, until we can restart our adult day-care operations.

We give housing, meals, nurse care, cognitive therapy, physical therapy, phono-audiology therapy, ludic activities, art, religious services, music and love to our elderly patients.
Who runs Life Club House?
Claudia Bernal, a 56 year old Industrial Engineer, whom after a successful career in the corporate world, left everything and created this home, originally to take care of her own parents. Her loving and very professional dedication, keeps the home and staff running.
