Save a Life - Liver Transplant
Donation protected
Dear Friends & Donors,
I'm Mohanraj Radhakrishnan from Manalapan,New Jersey. I'm a friend of Ashokkumar Gunasekaran who was head chef in the Indian restaurant.
Our friend Ashok who is 36 years old and he is admitted at ICU, RWJ University Hospital, New Brunswick, NJ on Oct 8th,2018 Monday night as he fainted down at a friend’s house. RWJ University hospital ICU diagnosed that ONLY 10% of liver is functioning and he is not fit to travel medically. He is undergoing extensive treatment in RWJ University Hospital and needs to be in Rehab for next 3 months. There is a possibility to do Liver Transplant based on his speed of recovery by next week.
Same incident had happened at work (in a kitchen) six weeks ago, and he was hospitalized in a Maryland hospital for three weeks subsequent to an ICU. As he saw improvement in his health, he started planning to go back once-for-all to his home country, India for treatment on Oct 9th from NJ. Unfortunately, he again fainted down at NJ and was admitted in hospital on Oct 8th.
He worked as Head Chef in a Maryland Indian restaurant and he was an alcoholic. He ignored his health initially, but later realized and while quitting this habit, these tragedies happened.
He is NOT eligible to get health and/or life insurance. His medical expense has to come out of his pocket now. We are expecting that his medical expense would come around to $25,000 . This raised fund would be used for his hospital medical expenses.
Ashok is a father of a 8-year-old little angel and his family is in India. He hasn’t hugged or even met his daughter yet in the last 8 years. He sacrificed all his emotions to give better life and eduction.
He is a great human being, has helped a lot of his juniors and many cooks to establish themselves in US. With the intension to preserve the heritage of authentic Indian food, he trained himself by assisting cook all across India.
He volunteered in "NJ Moi Virunthu" event as a Head Chef who fed us with sumptuous food to all of us and he took a break from work for more than a week to help plan the event meticulously. Now its pay back time in the crucial moment.
No contribution is small contribution. Lets open our heart and wallet and help the poor chef.
Your donation would save a human life and bring back a great father, great husband, great son and great human being.
Thank you for your support.
