Save My Horses - Medical Treatment

I am Lisa, an experienced horseback riding instructor for over 30 years.  I was recruited last May by the new (non-horseperson) owner of a riding facility on Long Island to teach riding, manage the barn, and improve their marketing.

This owner was not honest, and my horses were severely injured there.  I have now moved my horses to safety at another barn.  I know it wasn't the grooms at the old barn hurting my horses; it has to be someone from outside, but I had no idea who or why so the solution was to move to another barn -  but it’s farther east on Long Island,  30 minutes' extra drive, and I’ll lose many students because of the increased distance.  I can rebuild my riding business, but I MUST HEAL MY HORSES first!

THE MEDICAL PROBLEM:
My horses developed severe medical issues at the old barn, and I need financial help diagnosing and treating them.  I earn my living by teaching riding, and my school horses must be healthy!

A top Belmont vet assures me that BOTH HORSES' HEALTH CONDITIONS ARE ABSOLUTELY REVERSIBLE AND BOTH CAN BE 100% AGAIN RATHER QUICKLY, if they receive proper diagnostics and treatment.

WHAT I SEEK:
1.  Financial help with my horses'medical expenses.
My mare requires:
1.       Laser treatments on her hind leg from a top vet with a laser machine, and
2.      Diagnostics on the huge head bumps (photos below) that initially appeared on November 7, receded with hotpacking treatment, and reappeared overnight again just after Christmas, the bumps bigger and more painful than before.  I can’t prove it, but it looks very much as if she was severely beaten, TWICE, and medical professionals, although they con't say the words out loud, quietly concur as they have no other explanation.

My palomino gelding mostly just needs an entire case of
"Lactating Cow" to treat his stubborn thrush.

My horses are  my business partners, my children, and have been my dearest, most loyal friends for over 15 years. They are my life, and what I live for.

I need YOUR help!   I MUST GET MY HORSES OUT OF MEDICAL DANGER as soon as possible - they need treatment!

IF YOU WANT TO ASK ME QUESTIONS OR TALK TO ME, PLEASE FEEL FREE TO MESSAGE ME ON FACEBOOK.    I will respond quickly.

MY TRAKEHNER  MARE: (Story in photos below)My Schoolmaster mare in good health, and a student's mother up top, having a ball.  THE favorite school horse of every student, she has no bounce to her trot, jumps 5 feet easily, and even the smallest children learn to trot on her because she's so smooth.  She is highly intelligent, curious, responsive, and sweet.  She is MUCH in demand.
She gets many apples, carrots, and cookies!

NOW:
MARE MEDICAL ISSUE ONE:  Three Huge Head Bumps .  She needs proper (but expensive) diagnostics so we know how best to treat her, and to ensure she is safe to  teach on.  CAPTIONS BELOW PHOTOS.

Initial Injury, Nov  7, 2015.
Belmont vet:  "That's NOT normal...."  There were also two ADDITIONAL huge, fist sized bumps under each ear, about the size of the NEW bumps shown below (photos below of second injuries taken 12/27/15).  I hotpacked her for weeks with Epsom salts and while the bumps went down, they never went completely away.  Now, below, they appeared overnight, bigger than before, and the horse more terrified than before as well.Right bump:  Bottom of bump is the bottom of photo.  BIG BUMP.  This is new; the first bump was still visible when she got this NEW, bigger one, invisible under her mane, but which she did not have before Christmas (I groom under her mane and inspect both horses thoroughly every time they're groomed).

12/27/15:  LEFT BUMP.

MARE MEDICAL ISSUE TWO:  LEG INJURY:
She ALSO has an extremely painful "charlie horse" in her right hind leg, hock to buttocks, interior leg.   The vet says it's intramuscular scar tissue, curable with laser treatments.  It could have been caused by any number of things.  I've spent thousands already evaluating her leg, and searching for affordable laser, and now she's developed these head injuries - and I'm out of money.

She's been on Previcox since August, and methocarbamol since September.

MY PALOMINO QH GELDING
My best friend of 17 years;  above in good weight, muscled, toned and happy when under my personal care at home.

GELDING NOW:
Bad ongoing thrush we can't seem to get rid of.  I've spent a fortune in Thrushbuster and now my vet recommends Lactating Cow, which is better for thrush,  and less expensive to buy in a case of 12, but it's $40 a case.

I'M EMBARRASSED TO ASK FOR HELP
I am extremely embarrassed to ask for help.
I'm a private person and have an innate distaste of discussing my business even with friends, but I can't do this alone.  I have to admit it - I need help.

My horses ARE my business partners, my children, and have been my dearest and most loyal friends and teaching partners for over 15 years.  Together, we teach students the joys of riding, and horse communication, in all its many forms.  They are what I live for.  They do NOT deserve  to live like this, simply because I can't afford their medical bills!!!

THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH for whatever you can spare to help. PLEASE, help me save my horses lives' - and our shared business.

PLEASE HELP US.  PLEASE!!!!
