Zlatne Uste Golden Festival needs your help!

For nearly 40 years Golden Festival has been sponsored by Zlatne Uste Balkan Brass Band and produced by the Golden Festival Organizing Committee. Volunteers power the festival. That includes all the musicians (this year, 55 bands, none paid). In the past, ticket sales have more than covered costs, and we have donated any surplus to charities working in the Balkans.

This spring, after the disruptions of the pandemic, we restarted with a full indoor festival May 10-11 2024, and it was a rousing success in every way except financial. Higher costs and lower-than-expected attendance meant that we lost more than $35,000.

Will there be another Golden Festival? Only generous donations to rebuild our reserve funds will make that possible. This is a make-or-break-moment.
