We are raising money to save Duke, he's my service Timber Wolf Mix. My family and I were always confident that we'd have him for up to 7 more years, as wolves in captivity can live to be 17 years old. But, recently he began to limp. He was seen by many veterinarians and specialists this past week. Duke was finally diagnosed with bone cancer and sentenced to live just one month unless he undergoes surgery to amputate his front left leg. The good news is that he is incredibly healthy in every other way.

We rescued him as a puppy from a Washington state shelter.  He had been found shivering in a dumpster, terrified and alone. We were told Duke was a German Shepherd mix and that he wouldn't get much bigger, but he continued to grow to be 110 lbs and was later confirmed to be a Timber Wolf Mix!

He has truly changed the lives of our family and the lives of everyone he's ever spent time with. We are not prepared to let him die when there is a procedure and treatments that can save his life. Duke certainly isn't ready to go either!
