This is Bella the Beautiful on facebook. I have all but one vet bill shown there. This year her vet expenses have been over $2400. I am asking for help paying for the surgery, (the emergency visit that kept her alive until surgery and some of the after care). Once I am working i will pay the amount of donations forward to help others in a similar situation.
Bella has had the surgery and an emergency visit to prevent her bladder from bursting. I still need to pay for it! This is no scam. You CAN call sifton Park and ask about Bella Horning. I intend to leave a fund at the same vet to cover expenses for others in similar situations. It was grueling and horrible time to go through. I was considering selling my pick up (needed with to get work). My plan is to pay it forward once I am employed. I have PTSD from severe childhood traumas and torture. My dog came to me when I had a tumor. And has turned out to be wonderful as a service dog. Helping me recover from being triggered and avoiding dissociative episodes (I used to go for months feeling like a bystander in my own life). Well she came to me when she was 4 years old. Apparently with bladder stones. She has had surgery I can't afford to pay for. I was about to get her officially recognised as a service dog when she needed surgery. So now I can't afford to. Bella is recovering slowly. The extraction of the stone in her urethra caused swelling so she needs a catheter. The ongoing care has me so beyond being broke. Can you share my go fund me page so it gets some more action? This is Bella. She is 6 years old. She was gifted to me while I was down from an ovarian tumor in 2015, when she was 4 years old. Bella is 7 lbs she has lost 1 lb due to illness. She is the height of a Chihuahua but a bit longer and stockier (Shi Tzu Yorkshire terrier cross) She has a bladder stone the size of a loonie . She feels pressure on her bladder all the time. She was taken off antibiotics for a week and she couldn't pee for over 24 hours. She tremble and cried. She liked 8 times. She finally went pee and it was full of blood. I cried the whole day. I am on ei and have taken her to the vet 5 times. Bought medications, Xrays, tests, and special foods. So when she became deathly sick I was completely broke, I didn't even have money for gas. Bella is the most amazing dog! She helps me with PTSD from severe childhood abuse, torture and sexual abuse at the hands of my bio and step mothers. She is my inner child and she grounds me so I don't dissociate. She has hugely improved my quality of life, I like to think I have done the same for her. Bella is very attached to me and although I have considered rehoming her for her own good, I think the heart break might be too much. We are very much a bonded pair and miss each other like crazy when separated. I was planning to have her certified as a service dog. People who meet her are charmed by the tiny dog. She has swayed people's opinions of small dogs and of dogs in general. She is smart like crazy smart. She learns very quickly and is absutely amazing at communicating with me. She has learned tricks not taught to her. She will take a run towards me and flick her head and release a dental bone, throwing it for me. This is how she indicates she want to play fetch, or more fetch and chase ( I am supposed to chase her later). She will tap things with her paw to indicate she wants them. She lays on my lunch bag to prevent me sneaking off to work (when I have a job). She will lay on my jacket phone or purse to keep me home. She will grab me by extending her claws similar to a cat to keep me petting her. She tells me when to go to bed if I stay up late by trotting towards my bed then turning to bark at me if I don't go. These are just a few things that show how clever she is. I will use any money given as needed for medical. If more is raised I will leave for the vet to help other dogs. I also pledge to donate the amount used by my dog towards that fund once I am working steady again, paying it forward. I am a heavy equipment mechanic (female) who hasn't worked steady since my tumor. I lost my house last year as the bank learned I was trying to sell it to a we buy houses company. So we were homeless for a while last year. Things are looking up but the sooner my beloved dog gets surgery the healthier she will be. Her Vet is Kaylee Bohoychuk at Sutton park vet clinic.
