As most of you know, I adopted Albert 2 months ago after he was dumped in the rain, malnourished and matted.  He is now needing emergency surgery on his bladder due to large stones that have developed from a bladder infection he has had since before I adopted him (this is what is assumed). It is urgent and he needs it done Monday. I was originially quoted $1545 by the vet he was just discharged from, but after realizing they didn’t have the means or expertise to perform such a procedure, they are sending me to an emergency vet where I was quoted $4,200, now $5,000 (see update) Thank you all for your help so far, I am so so grateful and I know Albert is too.
