Saving Lives , A Race Against Time for My Family and Children

I'm reaching out to your pure souls, not as strangers, but as a beacons of light in our darkest hour. My name is Tasnim Alhamss and I'm reaching out on behalf of my children Salma 11y , Deeb 10y , a pregnant sister with her 5 children, a brother with his 3 daughters and my father who is a cancer patient in Rafah .

Few months ago, our family faced a devastating tragedy when we lost our home due to bombing on Gaza and they displaced to KhanYunis surrounded by uncertainty and danger, they made a desperate decision - to raise a white flag, a symbol of hope and surrender to evacute the besiged school where the tanks just a mere few meters away .

Amidst the turmoil and hardships they're facing, my heart aches knowing that my pregnant sister, along with her 5 children and my 2 children , is enduring this journey without access to basic medical care. Each day brings new challenges as we go through uncertain times, hoping and praying for brighter days ahead.

In the shadows of Rafah’s tents and unforgiving nights, our family huddles together, their faces etched with fear, weariness, and the haunting specter of uncertainty. The lack of nourishment weighs heavy upon us, their bodies weakened by the relentless grip of hunger, their spirits tested by the harsh realities of their existence.

As the bitter cold of the cold night descends upon them, they wrap themselves in threadbare blankets, seeking solace in each other’s warmth amidst the biting chill. Every shiver serves as a stark reminder of the hardships we endure, of the sacrifices made in the name of survival.

In the midst of this crisis, we're seeking support to ensure the safety and well-being of our family members. The cost of securing temporary shelter , relocation and basic necessities has become overwhelming, and we find ourselves unable to bear this burden alone.

That's why we're reaching out to compassionate individuals like you, who understand the power of community and solidarity.
