My name is Mai, and my husband Mohamed and I are now parents to our precious baby girl, Meila. Just weeks ago, we were preparing to welcome her with love, hope, and dreams—until war turned everything upside down.
During the last months of my pregnancy, we imagined a peaceful start for our family. But instead of safety, we were forced into survival. We lost our home, our jobs, and every little thing we had prepared for Meila.
Now, our daughter relies entirely on formula milk—but I had to give it to her with a heavy heart. There is barely any food or drink available, let alone juices or lactation aids to help me breastfeed. Formula milk, especially stage one for newborns, has become dangerously scarce because the borders are closed and no aid is allowed into Gaza.
We are struggling every single day to find her milk and diapers—both of which are either completely unavailable or shockingly expensive. We are doing everything we can, but it’s simply not enough anymore.
We are asking for your support—not just for us, but to help our daughter survive this war. Your kindness can give Meila a chance at life, and give us the strength to keep going.
Your generosity will make all the difference in giving my baby girl the best start in life and ensuring I can meet her needs with love and care. Thank you for your support during this important time!
Please be part of our story and help us create a brighter tomorrow for our baby.
