I am being evicted from my rent-controlled home of 15 years. My predatory landlords are trying to remove me from my home so they can make a profit from the huge influx of new tech workers in San Francisco. In the process they are trying to destroy the fragile fabric of my life, which will be disrupted and thrown into chaos by an eviction. I fear I could end up in the streets or even dead from the trauma. Where will I go? I'm terrified by the possibility of having to move to another city, and leave you, my friends and community. Evicting a vulnerable elder with cancer for profit is criminal. I worry about resulting health consequences from the threat of eviction.

My jury trial starts on May 18th. My attorney needs to depose my landlords. I'm raising money to pay for these depositions. I will be enormously grateful for your support.
