This 9-year-old angel is Sarah. She has been in a coma for 5 days and she got this way because of a horrific attack on their vehicle during a family picnic.
Sarah’s father was driving and his eldest son sat beside him. Sarah’s second brother sat in the backseat just behind their father. Sarah sat in the center holding on to her mother because she always feared travelling in cars. Sarah’s mother sat to her right while holding on to her youngest child.
With intervention and assistance when Sarah wakes up from coma, she will find a world so different. A grey and cold world.
She will first notice her dear father is no longer there to hold her. He has died.
She will look for her two brothers Suhail & Kumail, ages, 13 and 7, to make her smile but she won’t find them either. They too have died.
She will want to see her caring and gentle elder sister, Marva, age 12, to tell her everything will be okay, but she won’t hear those words from her sister. She too has died.
Sarah will want her loving mother to hold her in her arms but that too won’t be possible because mother has fractured arms, dislocated shoulders, a broken collarbone and a traumatic brain injury. It is believed that mother’s hands and arms fractured because she would not let go of her youngest child, Sedna age 4, whom she held tight in her arms as they rolled down the cliff. She covered and protected her youngest while taking most of the harm to herself. Sedna miraculously survived with only some minor scrapes.
A group of individuals believed to be associated with the terrorist Taliban regime side-swapped their vehicle which consequently rolled down over 1000-feet down towards the river of the Panjshir Valley in Afghanistan.
My name is Hameed and I am little Sarah’s uncle as her Mother is my sister. My sister’s name is Farzana and she raised me after we lost our parents. Farzana continued caring for me while I graduated school and gained employment as an interpreter and adviser for the U.S. Armed Forces in Afghanistan. Due to my performance and nature of my dangerous employment I was given legal permanent residence to the U.S. where I have been since 2013 living in Northern California with my own family.
These funds will be used to keep Sarah at the hospital and to pay for their bills ensuring the hospital staff do not remove her from the ventilator she so desperately needs and to resume all treatments to save her. Additionally, any leftover funds will be used for attorney fees to help bring little Sarah, her 4-year-old sister Sedna and mother Farzana to visit and possible live in America. My kindest sister Farzana is hospitalized and requires several surgeries. Per doctor’s advice, we have not notified her of the loss of her children and husband.
I will continue to update everyone as the situation changes.
