It's difficult to know where it's best to start. My fiancé and I have been together for 7 years, and for the last four of those we have lived in a very small town in Virginia so I could dedicate far too much of my time and energy as a therapist at a boarding school. I have adored my students and have been blessed by their presence in my life, but work has not left much time for anything else, like actually getting married, having a family of our own, or finishing my dissertation.

In May, we are planning to move back to Texas and hopefully get married. With that comes expenses we just cannot afford, nor do we have jobs lined up (thanks to our very understanding family there that is willing to take us in).

I'm hoping that I can raise enough money to help offset our moving costs and have a small gathering of family and friends so that we can finally celebrate our dedication to one another properly.
