Please take a moment to read Tori's story, as shared to us by her sweet sister.

Dear friends & family,

For those who don’t know, my sister Tori was recently diagnosed with breast cancer at the young age of 30 years old. Tori is a wife and mom of two young children and works as a nurse in the oncology unit at Maine Med. She just began the long treatment of chemotherapy and will undergo a double mastectomy as soon as the tumors are reduced to an operable size.

Tori is the primary breadwinner of her family and is unable to resume her work at the hospital as she undergoes treatment. We are reaching out to raise funds for her family during this time to help alleviate any financial burden. It is important to us that Tori is able to focus fully on her recovery without having to worry about any financial stress that this will inevitably put on them. Contributions will help cover medical expenses that insurance does not cover as well as the income loss the family will experience while she is on leave from work. We will forever be grateful for any donation made no matter the amount.
