HELP US BUILD A CHAPEL
In honour of God, Mary and all the saints of Sweden!
- I am writing to you about our beloved priest, brother and friend, Father Benedict, or Father Bengt as we call him. He has blessed us with his presence for the last years and he has touched many lives here in Sweden with his warm, welcoming presence and dedication to his calling.
- Thanks to your support, fr. Bengt was able to acquire a truly beautiful hermitage on Kinnekulle, Sankt Sigfrids Eremitage, where he devotes his life to prayer and work.
- We are immensely grateful for your prayers and your support. Once again, however, we would like to appeal to your generosity. Today, St Sigfrid’s Hermitage consists of a small cottage and a building that is not yet fully completed. At present, Father Bengt celebrates the Divine Office and Mass in his living room. He has neither a shower nor a toilet. There is no parking space. Your support, no matter the size, will help us to complete and furnish the chapel at St Sigfrid’s Hermitage, so that Father Bengt has a place where he can celebrate Mass and pray the Divine Office with dignity, and where it is also possible to receive visitors. - Our deepest gratitude goes to all those who want to help Father Benedict with their prayers and financial help! Every month he offers a Holy Mass for all benefactors and their deceased relatives.
- All donations, whether made through this platform or through other means, go directly to the St Sigfrid´s Hermitage Foundation, a registered foundation (Org. No.: 802482-8199), established to support Father Bengt and the Hermitage's activities. Neither the Hermitage nor Father Bengt receive financial support and are entirely dependent on Father Bengt's manual work and your contributions.
- Every gift, no matter how small, is greatly appreciated and is a sustainable investment in the Catholic renaissance in Sweden.
