Help me to help Aydan Win!
Please donate money to see Ms. Crump, shave her head and donate her lovely locks to Wigs for Kids. Yes, I am willing to shave my head to help Aydan Win!
Aydan is a 9-year old boy who has already faced and beaten a diagnosis of a malignant brain tumor four times. He is currently recovering from another battle against Childhood Ependymoma.
I met Aydan when I taught his sister in 3rd grade two years ago. He was in 1st grade and was very energetic. This year I was blessed to learn that Aydan was in my 3rd grade class and that I would be his teacher!
When we began to prepare for the beginning of the school year, I learned that Aydan would have brain surgery to remove tumors that were growing in his brain. He had the surgery on September 2, 2015 and again on September 8, 2015 (due to remaining tumor/scar tissues that were shown on post op MRI). Aydan was home-schooled while he received chemotherapy from October 2015 to January 2016. (Aydan Wins Website)
Finally, Aydan was able to return to school in January 2016. It has been such a wonder to watch Aydan become healthier each and every day.
Now, I am asking people to donate money to see Ms. Crump shave her head and donate her lovely locks to Wigs for Kids ( http://www.wigsforkids.org ). Yes, I am willing to shave my head :)
Since this is Aydan's 4th round of having cancer - I cannot image how much medical debt his family has do deal with. So, I thought I would raise money in a fun way. Aydan's hair has started growing back, so maybe it could be my turn to have no hair for awhile.
