Mom has received her angel wings today and passed through the gates of Heaven. She had a PEA attack which happens when your blood pressure suddenly drops severely low where peripheral pulses are not palpable. They performed CPR for a while until an ER doctor said there was nothing else they could do.
As you can imagine, this is a tragedy to my family.
My Mom was my world. We spoke everyday. I think to this day, she and I spoke about any and everything and nothing was off limits. She was always kind and always had a bright spirit. When my friends were around, those were HER kids. They were to call her Mom too. Her heart was so big.

As many of you may have heard, Sandra Brammer was diagnosed with COVID-19 on December 29, 2020. She was not prepared the for the toll it would take on her body, which was in already bad condition due to her bad back and limited lifestyle. While she was improving and I had been in contact laughing with her everyday, on Sunday, 01/10/2021, she took a turn for the worse. Her kidneys have failed and has been put on dialysis, which is not working too well. Her liver numbers are very poor. Her potassium levels have spiked to the point where it is doing a lot of damage to her heart. She cannot maintain a temperature and her blood pressure has plummeted to the 80s. She is not sedated although remains on a ventilator. She is not responsive to any of the nurses' questions. Today I was informed that a "crash cart" has been stationed outside of her room all night. I was asked if we wanted them to resuscitate her if she codes. I am taking this as a very bad sign. As many of us, she had nothing put away for medical expenses or God forbid, if anything were to happen to her. As I am aware that most of us are struggling due to the pandemic, I ask for you to find it in your hearts to contribute anything you can. We are hoping these funds will be used towards her medical bills when she recovers but it will also would cover expenses for things if something were to happen. Please find it in your heart to give as little or as much as you can. Again, I know we are in a pandemic and are all struggling so if you cannot contribute financially, please keep praying because she feels each and every one of them! Our family remains so grateful to all of you who have reached out to us offering your prayers and love. My Mom would be so humbled to know how much she is loved.
