Hi, my name is Victoria, and I am the pet parent to Samson, aka Lord Samson Munky butt.. I call him that because he is so playful and curious about everything. He is a friendly, gregarious and loving kitty cat. A friend to all in our building and neighborhood. He came down with Idiopathic Cystitis, also known as feline lower urinary tract disease or FLUTD and FIC. This is when a cat's urinary tract becomes blocked due to the buildup of crystals or stones in their urine. It is an excruciating and severe life-threatening condition.

He had to be rushed to the animal care hospital to be catheterized, fluids administrated and other care.. It was VERY, VERY critical. Doctors have also detected a heart murmur. The cause of it may be from all of the stress from this event or something else. But we are working on one thing at a time. His expected time in the hospital is 24 hours. All of his vital signs and tests are so far looking very good.

These unexpected emergencies are not cheap and always seem to come at the least convenient times.

I am reaching out to our community of friends, family and the world at large to ask for some financial support in helping with the cost of Samson's hospital care bill. The price is at least $2400.00 but could end up higher depending upon what happens in the next 24 hours.
