Sammie Willis Family recovery fund

Sammie Willis, a father and husband lost his fight with prostate and bone cancer on 12/30/2017. Sam was known by many with having a huge heart for family and friends.

At the age of 75 Sammie Willis leaves behind his wife; Katherine Willis, 3 sons, and 1 daughter in his passing.
During his last years with us, Sam devoted his life to the recovery of his youngest son Aaron Willis who is known to many as the young teenager who was shot and paralyzed in the city of Overtown during 2012. Sam has been by his family side throughout the period until he was unable to overcome his own health issues.

Sammie Willis was the head of household prior to his passing. As the family attempts to organize the memorial of Sam and focus on the continuous health of Aaron, the family looks for any help possible to regain financial strength during this lost.  Please share what you can even if it’s your blessings during this transitioning period of the Willis family.
