Living in California we deal with earthquakes and fires, but rarely do we see the devastation that flooding causes, so this account was started because we had such an outpour of requests from loved ones wanting to help out in some way, and I figured this might be the easiest way to achieve that. I have since raised the goal amount because it appears that the insurance company is going to make this as difficult as they can for them to get the help that they will need to start over. These funds will not only help them move in to a new place while their home is being reconstructed, but it will also help them to purchase furniture and clothing to replace all that they have lost.
