Hi, My name is Jennifer and I'm fundraising for my brother Sam who been dealing with an illness for about 2 years.

Above picture is my brother Sam and he needs your help. A little about my brother - He was born deaf, a devout Christian, a huge Buffalo Bills fan and loves NASCAR. Unfortunately, he literally  just had his birthday in the hospital this August. Happy Birthday, Sam!

Sam has been managing health issues or so he thought until this July 2021.  Sam was driving on the thruway, when he started having severe stomach pain and had to pull over the shoulder. The police arrived at the scene and Sam  was immediately taken to the hospital. His vehicle towed and impounded for 2 months. 

After emergency testing, they found him to be suffering from severe & acute pancreatitis and he was placed in a medically induced coma. The pain is excruciating.  Since then, he has had a couple of surgeries, several rounds of filtering his plasma, dialysis treatment, blood transfusions, a drain tube in his pancreas and  more.

His condition got worse and he  developed several cysts, one which was blocking the circulation into and out of his liver. At this point, Sam was moved to a tertiary hospital to handle the increasing acute pancreatitis.  Upon arrival they put a stint in his
liver. However, he is still in a crazy amount of pain. They are watching the cysts continue to grow in his abdomen, pancreas and
liver areas and are hoping to put more drain tubes in; along with a possibility of more surgeries.

As his younger sister, I have been very proud watching him evolve as a person. He has had many struggles with his deafness but he did not
let it hinder him in any way; especially, when people refused to work with him or made his work life difficult. My
brother is an Uber driver and just loves it because he absolutely love meeting new people.

Sam has not been working for quite some time and needs your help. Along the way, I have been helping with
medical decisions and now I'm assisting with the financial decisions the best we can. I'm definitely not a person who likes to ask for help
and I have been really struggling trying to figure out how to make things work for our family and for Sam; and nothing is adding up. Additionally, I live in another state, and cannot be there physically to support him as I have my own aliments to handle.

Anyone who has ever met Sam knows that he would give you the shirt off of his back if you needed it. If you can
assist in any way to help out my brother it would be greatly appreciated.
