Give Sable a Fighting Chance Against Cancer

In early June of this year (2025) I noticed a lump on the top of our family german shepherd Sable’s head. After tests and xrays with our local vet and a specialist visit with the oncology and surgical team with CVETS in Columbia, they determined that our sweet girl has cancer, a multilobular osteochondrosarcoma to be exact or MLO as they call it.

As devastating as this news is to us they have determined it is operable and with follow up radiation therapy/chemotherapy she will hopefully continue to live several more years as the silly loving girl she is. We have had sable since she was 8 weeks old and at only 6.5 yrs old I know she has so much more life in her, which is why I (Liz) have created this gofundme. I received her estimate for surgery and have researched the cost for her additional treatment post surgery and know that realistically it is more than I can handle on my own. If you know me then the last thing I would ever do is ask for help, but for the sake of our sissy, I know any little bit helps.
