Catastrophic Beirut Explosion
The explosion which occurred yesterday Tuesday 4th in Beirut’s main Port had catastrophic effects, not only in the Capital, but across all Lebanon’s territory. According to some experts, the explosive force of this incident was similar to a small nuclear bomb; that is equivalent to 1000 tons of highly explosive materials. The blast force of the explosion reached a distance of tens of kilometres, and the sound of the explosion was heard in all parts of Lebanon, and partially in Syria and Cyprus.
The death toll is still preliminary; with tens of Martyrs up until writing this statement. Along with Thousands of wounded people. The homes of about one million citizens were damaged, as their doors were removed, their windows were broken, and their furniture blew out, while thousands of homes in the area near the port were completely demolished and rendered uninhabitable.
Beirut now lives under a national catastrophe. Beirut port is completely leveled to the ground with complete halt ofany imports to the country. This national tragedy is complemented by an economic collapse and a deep financial crisis, as the Lebanese lost their purchasing power, their currency collapsed, and their public and private money was looted. The recovery process will be difficult and will require time, and effort from people and entities- whether people residing in Lebanon or abroad.
Therefore, we address our appeal to friendly institutions, organizations and bodies around the world, and to Lebanese expatriates and all those eager and loving, and we ask them urgently and exceptionally to collect financial and in-kind donations, and contact us to coordinate around them, as this is the task of social solidarity and human solidarity that is required today.
Contributions of any kind and nature are required now in order to provide assistance for the restoration of homes, centers, institutions, and to provide food and medicine. In addition, medical supplies are highly needed given the high number of wounded people.
This is a call of humanitarian duty. For the sake of Beirut, for the sake of people who died or injured. For the sake of people who are now homeless, for the sake of Lebanon, we need your help and support.

بيروت تناديكم
هي أيّام سوداء من الشجن والحداد والغضب، تلفّ لبنان من أقصاه إلى أقصاه، حيث أدّى الانفجار الكارثي في مرفأ بيروت إلى كارثة انسانية واجتماعية ضخمة في لبنان.
قوّة الانفجار قارنها الخبراء بقوّة قنبلة نوويّة صغيرة، وتعادل حوالي 1000 طن من المواد شديدة الانفجار. قوة العصف وصلت إلى مسافة عشرات الكيلومترات، وسمع صوت الانفجار في كل لبنان واجزاء من سوريا وقبرص وفلسطين المحتلّة.
عشرات الشهداء حتى الساعة، وقد يصل العدد النهائي إلى المئات. آلاف الجرحى حتى الآن وقد يصل إلى عشرات الآلاف. منازل حوالي مليون مواطن تضرّرت حيث خلعت أبوابها وانكسر زجاجها وتطاير أثاثها، فيما هدمت آلاف المنازل في المنطقة القريبة من المرفأ بالكامل وصارت غير صالحة للسكن.
بيروت مدينة منكوبة بكلّ ما من معنى في الكلمة، والكارثة الإنسانية هي نكبة وطنية. مرفأ بيروت سويّ بالأرض تماماً وستكون مهمة استيراد المواد من الخارج صعبةً ومعقدة من دون هذا المرفاً، ويتكامل مع هذه الفاجعة الوطنية انهيار اقتصادي وأزمة مالية عميقة، حيث فقد اللبنانيون قوّتهم الشرائية وانهارت عملتهم ونهب مالهم العام والخاص.
التعافي سيكون صعباً وطويلاً، وسيحتاج حتماً كل الجهود من الداخل والخارج.
لذلك، نوجّه نداءنا هذا إلى المؤسسات والمنظمات والهيئات الصديقة حول العالم، وإلى المغتربين اللبنانيين وكلّ الحريصين والمحبّين، ونطلب منهم بشكل طارئ واستثنائي أن يقوموا بجمع التبرعات المادية والعينية، والاتصال بنا للتنسيق حولها، فهذه هي مهمة التكافل الاجتماعي والتضامن الإنساني المطلوبة اليوم.
كل المساهمات الكبيرة والصغيرة مطلوبة، للمساعدة في تقديم العون لترميم المنازل والمراكز والمؤسسات وتأمين الغذاء والدواء، ولمداواة الجرحى ودعم أسر شهداء هذه المجزرة.

Explosion catastrophique à Beyrouth
L’explosion qui s’est produite le mardi 4 dans le port principal de Beyrouth a eu des effets catastrophiques, non seulement dans la capitale, mais sur tout le territoire libanais. Selon certains experts, la force explosive de cet incident ressemblait à une petite bombe nucléaire; cela équivaut à 1000 tonnes de matières énormément explosibles. La force de l'explosion a atteint une distance de plusieurs dizaines de kilomètres et la détonation a été entendue partout dans le pays, et même en Syrie et à Chypre.
Le bilan des décédés est encore préliminaire avec des dizaines de martyrs jusqu'à ce moment, aussi que des milliers de blessés. Les appartements d'environ un million de personnes ont été endommagés, leurs portes arrachées, leurs fenêtres brisées et leurs meubles détruits, tandis que des milliers d’habitations dans la zone voisine du port ont été complètement démolies et rendues inhabitables.
Beyrouth vit désormais sous une catastrophe nationale. Le port de Beyrouth est complètement détruit avec l'interruption complète de toute importation au pays. Cette tragédie nationale s’ajoute à un effondrement économique et à une crise financière profonde, alors que les Libanais ont perdu leur pouvoir d'achat, leur monnaie s'est effondrée et leur argent public et privé a été pillé. Le processus de rétablissement sera difficile et exigera du temps et des efforts de la part des personnes et des entités, au Liban et à l'étranger.
Ainsi, nous adressons notre appel aux institutions, organisations et organismes amis au monde entier, aux expatriés libanais et à tous ceux qui sont passionnés et aimants, et nous leur demandons de toute urgence et exceptionnellement de collecter des dons financiers et en nature, et de nous contacter pour y coordonner autour, puisque la solidarité sociale et la solidarité humaine sont indispensables aujourd'hui.
Les contributions de toute forme sont nécessaires maintenant pour fournir une assistance pour la restauration des maisons, des centres, des institutions et pour pourvoir de la nourriture et des médicaments. Son días negros de tristeza y duelo que envuelven al Líbano de un extremo a otro, ya que la catastrófica explosión en el puerto de Beirut provocó un enorme desastre humanitaria y social en el Líbano.
Los expertos compararon la fuerza de la explosión con la potencia de una pequeña bomba nuclear. La fuerza de la onda alcanzó una distancia de decenas de kilómetros y el sonido de la explosión se escuchó en todo el Líbano y partes de Siria, Chipre y Palestina ocupada.
Casi 200 muertos muertos hasta el momento y el número final va en aumento, Miles de heridos hasta ahora, aproximadamente un millón de ciudadanos resultaron dañadas sus casas, mientras que miles de casas en el área cerca del puerto quedaron completamente destruidas y quedaron inhabitables.
